Active Killer DefenseThere were more active shooter incidents than days in 2019. More school-aged children die from gun violence than active duty police officers or global military fatalities. Contrary to popular belief, unarmed citizens stop more active shooter scenarios than their armed counterparts. Of the 160 "active shooter" incidents identified by the FBI from 2000 to 2013, 5 were stopped by armed citizens versus 21 incident in which unarmed citizens "safely and successfully restrained the shooter." We believe that unarmed citizens have the power to save countless lives. We train caring citizens to disarm active shooters safely. Active Killer Defense™ is designed as a dynamic training modality, involving physical defensive tactics training, realistic scenario training, and lectures. The end goal is to create safer and more secure schools, businesses, churches and communities. |
